Oriana Zill de Granados is the producer and writer of documentaries, with Lowell Bergman, for PBS Frontline and Frontline World, including Crimes at the Border (2008), A Dangerous Business Revisited (2008), The Enemy Within (2006), and Drug Wars (2000). For the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) and Frontline World, she also produced The Lawless Sea (2002). She has produced segments for PBS Expose, PBS Now with Bill Moyers, and ABC News Nightline.

She is also the producer, director and writer of a CIR/Latino Public Broadcasting documentary, Nuestra Familia/Our Family, about Latino gangs in California’s farm towns, which aired nationally on PBS in 2006, and was awarded a 2006 IRE Medal for Crime Reporting and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Documentary Award.

She was Senior Producer on national documentary projects at the Center for Investigative Reporting from 2005–2008, including Banished, on PBS Independent Lens (2008), Hot Politics on PBS Frontline (2007), Body Parts, CNN Presents (2006), No Place to Hide ABC News Peter Jennings Reporting (2005), and Reasonable Doubt, CNN Presents (2005).

Her print reports have appeared in stories for The Nation magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Oakland Tribune and the Christian Science Monitor and she has contributed to several stories in the New York Times. Many of her other investigative print stories have been published on the Frontline web site www.pbs.org/Frontline.
